Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible regarding size and colour. The image you see may be different due to slight variation between browsers, devices, and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and such inconsistences will not be a valid reason for return.

Purchasing

Payments through this site are taken through Stripe or ApplePay in British Pounds Sterling. We do not store any of your credit/debit card details.

Payment by bank transfer

I offer the option to pay by bank transfer which many UK customers prefer. This saves me the credit card fees. If you would like to do this, please email me and I will email you details of how to pay. Please pay immediately as the artwork will be marked as sold and unavailable to others.

Shipping

Please be aware that I am offering shipping to UK, USA, Canada and Australia only at this time. However, if you are outside of those countries, please contact me here: liz@lizackerleyart.com and I will be more than happy to give you a quote to send a painting internationally. Overseas shipments (outside of the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my painting?

Original paintings will be packed and shipped within 7 working days. Within the UK pieces are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending upon size and weight. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. Please be aware that I cannot be held responsible for the postal service timings. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

How is my payment handled?

Shipping cost is added at checkout based on the size of the work and your location. I am currently offering free shipping in the UK only. Shipping costs charged to you contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees and insurance.

Note: At the current time shipping costs are varying significantly, especially on air freight. If the actual cost of shipping is significantly more than quoted, I reserve the right to discuss this with you and to refuse the sale.

What about large or high value artworks?

I appreciate this is a high value purchase – and a piece of work that has been many hours in the making. It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. You will be notified with shipping details with each product you are interested in. We will provide you with an estimated shipping charge. We will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is dispatched. According to the delivery service chosen, actual costs may be higher than the estimated cost shown.

Returns

What if it arrives and I don’t like it?

We want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so we offer a Buy-Back agreement.

If a piece is not as you expect, you have 7 days to contact us by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service by which it was sent to you. Once a piece has been safely returned, I will refund your payment within 14 days. Refund is for the cost of the art only and does not include the cost of shipping or Paypal or stripe fees.

What if my piece arrives damaged?

All artwork is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days and share a photograph.

What about overseas returns?

At this time, we are unable to offer a refund or return on any products sent outside of the UK.
